You have made me a mother. And so on this Mother’s Day, I celebrate you, sweet girl.
You are nearing being 7 months old. And I am constantly amazed at how much you have grown, developed, and learned. You already make us so proud. Katherine Elizabeth Connatser, we are completely in love with you (and your precious baby chunkiness only adds to our love).

We just worked on our budget.
We worked through the numbers, sifted through receipts, and stared at the computer screen adjusting and reconfiguring. You’d think our solemn expressions afterwards meant we had just been involved with something devastating or tragic. Yet, it was just the budget. But in all reality, it can be a scary thing to review finances and look at the budget. |
