There will be times in life where you feel completely alone. Whether you courageously stand up for something you believe in and get chastised, or you have a season of not being known by those around you, or you go through something it seems no one else you know has gone through, or whatever the case may be, a time will come when you feel alone.
But please believe me when I tell you: You are never alone.
There will always be someone who will empathize; there will always be someone to walk with you. No matter what you go through, there is someone who has gone through it before and understands. Sometimes our feelings mask the truth. Actually, often times they do. You must learn to rely on truth and not on feelings. Truth remains steadfast even when circumstances change and feelings deceive. Don't ever believe the lie that no one understands or cares, knows or sees.
The truth is, we are always here for you; the Church is always here for you to guide you with the authority of Scripture and love you and encourage you in perseverance; and Jesus is with you always.
And that is a comfort to cling to.
We have a God that does not leave us as orphans. He does not forsake us. He will not abandon us. He intimately knows us and continuously draws near to us.
When this world makes you feel deserted and forgotten, neglected and overlooked, rest confidently knowing you are never alone.
Beside You Through Life,
"The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth."
